Defibrillator (AED)
An automated external defibrillator from a wall cabinet or an ambulance. Put the pads on the chest of someone whose heart has stopped and it reads the rhythm, then shocks it if a shock can help; it is far more likely to bring back a pulse than CPR alone. After five years on standby the battery only holds a few shocks.
