The field kit's survey map, drawn by the game's own map code: the same tiles, zones, marks and weather. Faction ground, checkpoints, relays, squad flags, herds and survivor density are the site's extra layers. Survivor density is counted in one-kilometer squares and held back at least ten minutes, so the map never gives anyone's position away. The weather is the last report read out on 119.3, Sandy Shores Weather, the one any survivor with a radio hears.
